Personal AI's real test: does your judgment survive after you close the window?

Responding to the claim that memory without action is just a prettier notes app, the author adds that action without decision memory is just a better to-do bot. Personal AI isn't a one-sided upgrade: memory alone is notes, action alone is a to-do list, and only when the two hand off while the "why" still belongs to you does it start to feel like a digital twin.
Four criteria for vetting tools:
- Do rejection reasons get compressed away?
- Can the next action be traced back to that "why"?
- Does the chain survive switching sessions or models?
- In team use, is ownership of judgment clear?
The quoted post argues the real question for Personal Agents isn't whether they can book tickets or reply to email, but whether your judgment persists after you close the window: do preferences survive, does persona survive a device or model switch, and is it clear whose memory it is in team settings.
