Scott Aaronson writes on his blog that he has heard rumors AI companies have reached solutions to longstanding open problems in theoretical computer science, and are sitting on multiple major announcements due to the Navier-Stokes firestorm.
Greg Brockman has reportedly confirmed OpenAI made 'significant progress' on a second Millennium Problem. The rumor is OpenAI is close to — or has already — solved two of the remaining problems; which two is unknown, with Dev Day floated as an announcement venue. All unconfirmed.
