Ben Todd, founder of 80,000 Hours, says he is 'extremely concerned' by OpenAI and Anthropic's attempt to concentrate power through regulatory capture under the banner of 'pacing the frontier'.
He is publishing a new three-part series, 'Accelerating the Frontier', arguing that the frontier should speed up rather than slow down — a direct challenge to the leading labs' safety-driven slowdown narrative.
