Musk explains why Terafab must exist: Taiwan chip risk plus capacity ceiling

At the All-In Summit, Elon Musk laid out two reasons Terafab has to exist: geopolitical risk — advanced chips from Taiwan may become unavailable — and scale — existing fabs will run out of capacity as AI, humanoid robots and autonomous vehicles keep growing. Chips, he argues, are the foundation under server AI, edge compute, Optimus and Tesla vehicles: "it's either build Terafab or fail to scale."
