Dario Amodei: even frozen, we're only using 5-10% of AI's possible value

After a week of asking the world to slow down AI, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei said at Dreamforce: "Even if we freeze the technology in place, we're making use of maybe only 5% or 10% of what the possible value of the technology is." A notable tension between his caution on AI speed and his view that current AI remains massively underutilized.
