Rome-based security firm Exein announced a $270M raise at a $1.7B valuation to build the security layer for Physical AI — intelligent machines that perceive, decide, and act in the physical world. The round is led by HeadlineVC with Sofina, Goldman Sachs, EIB's ETCI, KfW, Deutsche Telekom's T-Capital and others, alongside an upsized revolving credit facility led by J.P. Morgan. The sharer notes the unicorn has fewer than 500 X followers, questioning X as a GTM channel for founders.
