Dev runs coding agents inside tmux sessions viewed in his browser IDE
lucasmeijer · x · 2026-09-16
Developer lucasmeijer shares a practical agent workflow tip: whenever his coding agent does infra work or tasks spanning multiple machines, he asks it to run inside tmux sessions, then opens those sessions as views in his "browser IDE."
The payoff is being able to watch the agent work in a real terminal, just as a human would — far nicer, he adds, than having everything buried in unreadable bash tool calls where you have no idea what's happening.
