Jev outputs probabilities, not words: 25x faster and 600x cheaper than Fable as an LLM judge
danshipper · x · 2026-09-16
Every has been testing a new foundation model called Jev for a week. Instead of producing words, Jev outputs probabilities, letting it serve as an efficient judge in cases that would need a Fable-level model—at 25x the speed and 1/600th the price. Commenters suggest the probabilities could also guide writing models to match an author's word-by-word style decisions.
