MiniMax's Japan IP×AI Summit draws 150+ firms; H3 IP Edition gets 60+ adopter leads

MiniMax co-hosted the "IP × AI" Summit in Japan with KAGAMI AI, drawing 150+ companies from Japan and the US, with guests including AKB48 producer Yasushi Akimoto and executives from SBI Neo Media and KADOKAWA, alongside Runway, Higgsfield, Krea and HeyGen.
At the event MiniMax unveiled H3 IP Edition, pairing its H3 model with officially licensed Japanese IP for AI-powered storytelling. Over 60 companies have already expressed interest in adopting it, and the summit was covered by TV Tokyo's WBS.
The move marks a pivotal step toward bringing licensed Japanese IP into the generative AI era and deepens MiniMax's foothold in Japan.
