Former OpenAI researcher puts 70% odds on globally catastrophic AI outcomes

In a CNN interview, a former OpenAI researcher estimated a 70% chance of globally catastrophic outcomes from AI, warning that if AIs and robots "don't actually care about humans and go rogue," things could end very poorly. NathanpmYoung added that, had Daniel taken their survey, he would rank around the 94th percentile in concern about worst-case outcomes.
