OVER Turns Insta360 X5 Captures Into Gaussian Splats You Can Build Games and Robots On
Scobleizer · x · 2026-09-16
OVER the Reality demonstrated a workflow: capture a large real-world environment with an Insta360 X5, let OVER reconstruct it as a large-scale Gaussian Splat, then hand the digital twin to AI to add characters, missions, interactions, game mechanics, or simulations.
The pitch is "capture reality once, build anything": the reusable 3D spatial data also serves as a foundation for XR, robotics VPS, AI training, navigation, and simulation. Users can try it via the OVER the Reality app.
