Robotics safety mirrors frontier LLM alignment, but hardware-side risks remain unique

In a reply to chrisjpaxton, Darpinian argues that safety for Astra-type robot foundation models is essentially the same problem as frontier LLM safety/alignment and will be addressed similarly, though hardware-side safety work is unique to robotics. Paxton contends robots need world understanding to be truly safe, which general foundation models could provide.
