Dev proposes a new role: Agent Advocate — making platforms legible and callable by AI agents
thisiskp_ · x · 2026-09-15
thisiskp proposes a new dev-tool job category: Agent Advocate (AA), analogous to Developer Advocate. AA's sole focus: making platforms legible, usable, and callable by agents — constantly testing various agent harnesses to find where things break, then closing the gaps via docs or product roadmap tickets. He's surprised this role hasn't been formalized yet as agents become primary 'users.'
