30-minute hackathon build: real-time tabletop 3D reconstruction bridge for robot sim

At an OpenAI hackathon, a developer built a robot simulation engine in 30 minutes: a RealSense depth camera maps the tabletop environment, reconstructs objects in 3D in real time, and ports the scene into a simulator (with World Labs). Any robot's digital twin (tested with a Unitree G1) can then interact with objects in sim, and plans are played back on the physical robot — closing the real-to-sim-to-real loop.
