Why C may be the most important programming language in the AI era

A widely shared take by @manicode argues that in the AI-generated software era, we may no longer pay the abstraction and runtime costs of high-level languages. If AI can reliably generate, analyze, test, and maintain low-level code, the economics change and C—not C++ or Python—becomes interesting again.
