Developer Maziyar Panahi tested DeepSeek V4.1 Flash for object detection: he fed it 10 completely different photos, then kept only the boxes that a locally running RF-DETR agreed with—zero boxes moved or hand-fixed, fully local.
In the replies he also asks other testers whether they found provider-side quality variance on OpenRouter with V4.1 Flash, similar to GLM-5.3 Flash where some providers had degraded vision quality.
