Analyst David Linthicum reports Broadcom adopted his research "Private AI Cloud Platforms: 2026 Evaluation," in which VMware Private AI Foundation with NVIDIA ranked first with a weighted score of 9.1/10 — 9.8 in platform maturity, 9.3 in security and control, 9.2 in cost predictability. The key finding is operational: thousands of enterprises already on VMware can adopt AI without rebuilding infrastructure, a lead he expects to hold through 2027-2028 as enterprises demand governance, data sovereignty and predictable costs.
