Kimi Code ships Remote Control by default, native Linux clipboard and plugin marketplace
KimiDevs · x · 2026-09-15
Kimi Code's new release makes Remote Control always-on (experimental flag removed), adds native clipboard support on Linux X11 so TUI copy no longer depends on OSC 52, and introduces a Plugins panel in the web app for browsing, installing and managing plugins. Other changes: auto-generated AI session titles, Ctrl+X session deletion, kimi upgrade -y, configurable compaction retries, read-only tools for the /btw side agent, media previews in the composer, and HEIC/HEIF/BMP attachment support.
