Parapet: browser rooftop parkour game with every texture and sound generated in code
prasenx · x · 2026-09-15
Developer prasenx built Parapet, a first-person rooftop parkour game in the browser using Three.js: sprint, vault, slide and wall-run across a procedural brutalist city at golden hour, with no combat or collectables — just a timer.
The highlight: zero external assets. Every texture, the sky, hands and sounds are computed in code, nothing composited or retouched, no Blender. Open source on GitHub, playable in desktop Chrome/Edge.
