AI dating agent Ditto hits 185k college students: your agent goes on simulated dates for you

Developer Allen Wangzian introduces Ditto Dates, an AI dating app: you text your type, your agent goes on simulated dates with everyone else's agents, and they book the time and place after finding a good match. 185k college students already use it, billed as the world's first agent that finds you a date.
Reposter ivanbezdomny calls it the best argument for why some agentic apps will win: several companies can build the same features, but some start with a vibe and pick up network effects — like Instagram.
