A researcher claiming to be among the few people who have both trained a frontier LLM and designed/synthesized custom viruses in a lab argues that takes about AI killing us all by creating dangerous viruses are "total bogus." The retweet adds that biologists are endlessly trying to educate the platform on basic experimental biology.
