ChatGPT keeps starting answers with "Yes" even to non-questions

A Reddit user notices ChatGPT's chat mode frequently opens replies with "Yes", even when the prompt isn't a yes/no question — e.g. a command like "browse the web for upcoming events" gets "Yes. I searched fairly broad...". Others chime in with similar observations. A small but amusing model behavior quirk, possibly an RLHF-trained tic.
