NVIDIA expands AI for Media at IBC: synthetic video detector hits 99.3% accuracy

NVIDIA announced a major expansion of its AI for Media collection at IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, adding SDKs, NIM microservices, playbooks and blueprints.

Use cases: news teams verifying whether footage is AI-generated, smoother sports slow-motion replays, and lip-synced translation dubbing for broadcasters.
The Synthetic Video Detector NIM microservice has improved to 99.3% accuracy on text-to-video content and 97.7% on image-based content since its SIGGRAPH release.
IBC 2026 draws 44,000+ attendees from 170+ countries with 1,300+ exhibitions.
