A follow-up share of the same story: per WSJ, OpenAI acquired smartphone camera startup Glass Imaging for over $300M. Its GlassAI product uses RAW-trained neural networks to replace parts of the traditional ISP pipeline, correcting lens aberrations, noise and crosstalk — as OpenAI and Jony Ive deepen their consumer hardware push.
