Nvidia, Palantir and Booz Allen restrict Anthropic's Fable over sensitive data retention concerns

The Information reports that Nvidia, Palantir, and Booz Allen are restricting their use of Anthropic's Fable over concerns about retaining sensitive corporate data.
The friction stems from Anthropic's June introduction of rolling 30-day usage logs for safety monitoring, which clashed with enterprise clients' data protection expectations. Anthropic's planned option allowing eligible customers to store logs themselves can still be revoked, and Palantir is reportedly withholding Fable entirely. The author notes the report also reflects poorly on OpenAI, but Anthropic's Fable usage was specifically highlighted.
