Running 12 market-making bots side by side: clock-based vs distance-based oracle refresh on BTC-BRL
cardosofede · x · 2026-09-15
Developer cardosofede ran 12 market-making bots simultaneously in Condor to compare two oracles for BTC-BRL: (A) local mid price refreshed on a timer vs (B) a synthetic dollar price from BTC-USDT × BRL FX refreshed by distance to reference. Same venue, different fair price — with visibly different quoting behavior. He shared the agent chats behind the switch and asked which oracle traders would trust live.
