- Describe the visual style in natural language (cooler shadows, softer contrast, etc.)
- Generate a custom .cube LUT file from the prompt
- Import it into CapCut PC and test across your footage
- Refine the prompt for a new LUT or adjust further inside CapCut
The author argues this feels much closer to a real creative process than picking presets — a directly reusable trick for short-form video creators.
