Resemble AI ships DETECT-World, a physics-based deepfake detector with 99.5% audio accuracy

Resemble AI has released DETECT-World, billed as the world's best deepfake detector and the first "world model" built for detection.

• Conventional detectors memorize known fakes and degrade as new generators appear (Hugging Face hosts 2.2M+ model variants); DETECT-World instead asks whether content is physically possible — lighting, geometry, motion, audio-visual sync — so it catches generators it has never seen.
• One computation returns a verdict, a timeline of when the anomaly occurs, and a heatmap of where.
• It scored 99.5% audio accuracy on the externally run Podonos benchmark, first among commercial APIs.
