Medra founder on skipping the safe professor-plus-NVIDIA path to build a robotics startup

Medra's founder reflects that he could have spent a year as a professor while working at NVIDIA — financially secure and reputationally set — before starting his company. But as friends reminded him, the person who would calculate that way probably wouldn't have founded Medra in the first place.
