G2's Tim Sanders shared buying-behavior data on Eye on A.I.: 29% of software buyers started with an AI prompt instead of Google last year, rising to 50% this year and likely two-thirds next year.
The shift: buyers write natural language prompts rather than keywords, making AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) the new battleground replacing traditional SEO in B2B marketing.
