Doctor's EMR popup screenshots go viral: ordering meds feels like a mini-game

Physician @PaleoOnc shared screenshots of the cascading popups that greet doctors logging into electronic medical records: irrelevant forced questions before ordering an x-ray or medication, answers buried in tiny-print lists that vary between popups, deliberately tiny buttons, and admin pre-selected defaults that leave doctors liable for orders they never intended. The sarcastic post went viral.
@cljack added that "medical errors from terrible EMR UX" isn't tracked or punished by any regulator — a massive regulatory failure. These frontline clinician UX rants have become a recurring genre in health-tech circles.
