Jailbreak telemetry cheatsheet: 6 practices to treat AI attacks as a traffic type
blaizedsouza · x · 2026-09-14
A developer shares production practices for jailbreak attempt telemetry: if you don't count jailbreak tries, you won't see a campaign start. Log every suspected jailbreak as its own event.
The cheatsheet: (1) tag the attempt class, (2) store tenant, channel, and hour, (3) chart volume daily, (4) throttle repeat actors, (5) share spikes with safety teams, (6) never put raw attempts in public logs. Core principle: attacks are a traffic type — measure them. A sudden cluster from one tenant is an incident, not a curiosity.
