A new round of infighting in the x-risk community: Kevin Bass and others allege that many voices amplifying the viral Coxon story are bankrolled by Anthropic's investor ecosystem — Good Ventures/Open Philanthropy (Dustin Moskovitz, who led Anthropic's Series A) and Jaan Tallinn's Survival and Flourishing Fund among them — and argue the panic serves these actors financially. Meanwhile Émile P. Torres publishes the third installment of his TESCREAL series arguing the "TESCREAL conspiracy" is, in fact, a real conspiracy rather than a conspiracy theory.
