BountyScout: open-source hourly GitHub bounty scanner with alerts
gleech · x · 2026-09-14
BountyScout is an open-source GitHub Actions–based bounty scanner that runs hourly, queries the GitHub Search API for new paid bounties, and filters out pull requests, already-assigned issues, crowded threads (>25 comments), and crypto spam. It deduplicates via a seenbounties. state file so each bounty notifies only once, dispatches alerts through GitHub Issues, Telegram, or Discord, and persists state back to the repo for the next run.
