Open-source Claude skill automates App Store competitive research
iamdsvs · reddit · 2026-09-14
A developer open-sourced an "app store research" skill to validate ideas before building: it finds top apps for any idea with ratings and chart ranks, pulls full listing info, fetches every written review, compares competitors side by side, and builds a single HTML report.
Works in Claude Code and Codex; requires only Node — no Apple account, no API key. Repo: github.com/iam-joey/app-store-research.
