After FSD, Model Y feels like a transportation robot, not a car

After buying a new Model Y, arampell argues cars with FSD are no longer the same product category: a car is like a horse, while a Tesla with FSD is a transportation robot. As one of the earliest Model 3 owners (2017), he found FSD then was just slightly better cruise control and felt oversold — but that's changed. Investor Deedy agreed, saying a loaner Model Y in the Bay Area was "damn near perfect" at self-driving, making it hard to justify buying another ordinary car.
