Hamel Husain: Codex can already do anything Muse-style agent tools offer — skip the tool sprawl
HamelHusain · x · 2026-09-14
Hamel Husain argues Codex can easily do whatever Muse, Bot and similar specialized agent tools offer. He gets the appeal of the minimal "less is more" form factor, but if you're already a Codex desktop power user (computer use, remote access, thread management, voice control), adding more tools is YAGNI. He still plays with alternatives for education, but warns against tool sprawl without real benefit.
