Mathematicians shouldn't fall for AI folk's replacement fearmongering, researcher argues

Responding to the Fields Medal open-letter row, @meanfieldzane argues mathematicians are falling into a trap: AI people love taunting them with visions of irrelevance. Instead of getting defensive, mathematicians should rethink their research process and could end up producing more discoveries than ever. He expects the fearmongering to fail for most knowledge workers.
