Per SCMP, the US ultimately left optical transceivers off its blacklist, bringing relief to China's optical module supply chain. InnoLight chairman Liu Sheng said at a Goldman Sachs event that while telecom transceiver generations evolve every 3-5 years, data center cycles now churn in under two years.
