A developer connected the reconstructed fruit fly connectome (166,700 neurons, 25 million synapses) to a physical Strandbeest robot, translating simulated neural activity into motor commands. The computational model previously ran DOOM and Chrome Dino; the author engineered the brain-to-robot interface himself.
