Responding to Joe Weisenthal's question about third-party inspections for AI labs, aarmlovi argues banking regulation is the better analog: since banks can't be forced to expose IP or publish private data, the Fed and OCC embed permanent resident examiners in the most complex banks for continuous but confidential supervision — a model that could carry over to AI lab oversight.
