The old link between believing in AI existential risk and good epistemics is about to break

An X observer argues that belief in existential AI risk has so far correlated strongly with good epistemics, but that correlation is about to break down—likely good for the world, and incredibly annoying for him personally. A reply adds that reading just a couple of someone's takes on pressing issues is enough to gauge their epistemics anyway.
