RL researcher Csaba Szepesvari says AI writing is so bad he refuses to use it, sitting on several cool results he believes are correct. Each project runs 70–100 pages and would take months to verify — even auto-formalizing proofs with Codex or Claude could take months. His sticking point: the math may be right, but the AI prose is unbearable.
