Sentdex asks whether any non-EA AI evaluation company is actually used by frontier labs. Perry Metzger replies no: the evaluators largely come from the same group houses, attend the same parties, and work at organizations funded by FLI or Coefficient, suggesting the AI eval ecosystem is a tightly-knit, ideologically homogenous circle.
