Chamath seized on Dario Amodei's statement that "we must slow the pace at which we improve the capabilities of AI models", accusing him of wanting to stop open source and concentrate enormous technological and economic power in Anthropic. e/acc figure beffjezos amplified it: "Of course he wants to kill open source, it's the greatest threat to his company's margin and his ability to control everyone." The latest flashpoint in the escalating feud over frontier AI pacing.
