MiniMax H3 first/last frame test: blow-out trick makes seamless swaps
Loo_Atreides · x · 2026-09-13
A creator tests MiniMax H3's First/Last Frame feature: two images separated by a factor of 10¹² in luminance (a match vs the Sun), no text prompt between them, 15 seconds of output.
The key insight: the invisible cut isn't a dissolve but an offset—luminance peaks at 5s while motion peaks at 8s. The model blows out the frame to white first, then swaps the images under cover of the white.
