The "Occupy OpenAI" protest demanding Sam Altman call for an AI treaty hit day 39. Organizers say security threatened to stop their megaphone use, hinting it would be bad if they "got the attention of powerful people." The protest drew top French YouTuber HugoDecrypte, French TV, and a German newspaper.
Cambridge AI safety researcher David Krueger reposted and gave a speech there alongside Jamie Joyce and Jeremy Ornstein, writing: "You can feel the change in the air! I honestly think we are making history."
