WTMemory: a 794KB Mac menu bar tool that finds local LLM weights eating your memory
saibharadwaj · x · 2026-09-12
Developer saibharadwaj shipped WTMemory, a 794KB Mac menu bar memory tool built for modern dev workloads: local LLM weights, MCP servers, agents, browser automation, and orphaned dev servers that legacy cleaners can't identify.
The free tier scans and monitors; Pro is a one-time $9 for up to 3 Macs with lifetime updates and fully offline operation. A sample scan on an M-series Mac found 94GB: 42.7GB of Ollama model weights and 24.1GB of HuggingFace cache. Includes one-click cleanup, DNS cache flush, dev-server killing, and local AI model hunting.
