IMO Geometry Was Solved by Computers Long Ago: Coordinate Brute Force Argument

In a debate about AI capabilities, a commenter uses IMO olympiad geometry as a pre-AI example: these problems have long been solvable by computers — set up coordinate charts (cartesian geometry), grind through pages of tedious computation, and almost all of them can be proven.
The point: some tasks that look like high-level intelligence already had mechanical solutions, so claims of AI breakthroughs should be weighed against whether a computable path existed all along.
