Tesla announced Terafab, billed as the largest chip manufacturing facility ever, built with SpaceX and xAI and targeting 1TW of chips per year, combining logic, memory and advanced packaging. Musk's roadmap includes launching 100 million tons of solar capture into space annually, 100-200GW of chips for Optimus alone plus terawatts for solar-powered AI satellites, million-ton launch capacity, and millions of Optimus robots to help build it.
